In this article we’ll be discussing & helping you to add your email account(s) to a mail client (such as Outlook or MacMail).
In almost all cases you’ll need the following server information, so please take note.
You will need to have your email address and password to hand.
Server information #
Mail server access information is comprised of two parts, incoming – IMAP and outgoing – SMTP.
Incoming Server (IMAP)
Server Name: imap.stackmail.com
Username: Your e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail password
Port: 993
Security: SSL/TLS
Authentication: Normal password / SPA
Outgoing Server (SMTP)
Server Name: smtp.stackmail.com
Username: Your e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail password
Port: 465
Security: SSL/TLS
Authentication: Normal password / SPA

For each of the following mail clients, we’ll be supplying you with official support guides on how to add your email account. You will need the above server information in all these cases.

Other mail clients #
Each mail client is slightly different so it’s important to check their support guides. In almost all cases, you’ll need the server information.
Free webmail #
Should you wish, you may want to use our free webmail. It’s included as standard in all our web hosting packages. You can use it as much or as little as you like.
For this, all you need to do is visit stackmail.com in your web browser. Then enter the username (which is your email address) and password (the password for that email address).
In webmail you can send & receive emails, manage signatures, add and remove autoresponders, change the password and much, much more.
