Cookie Policy

Updated 14 June 2026

This policy explains how Prystine Web Solutions Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on prystine.co.uk. We keep this to a deliberate minimum — we don’t run advertising trackers, and we don’t sell your data.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. “Similar technologies” includes things like your browser’s local storage. They can be essential (needed for the site to work) or non-essential (analytics, personalisation, advertising).

The short version

We don’t use any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our own analytics are cookieless. The only thing we store on your device by default is a small preference for whether you’d like the site in light or dark mode — and that lives in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device.

What we use

1. Essential — site preferences (local storage) We remember your light/dark/system theme choice in your browser’s local storage so the site looks the way you left it. This isn’t shared with us or anyone else, and the site works fine without it.

2. Analytics — Plausible (cookieless) We use Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on our own infrastructure, to understand which pages are useful and how people find us. Plausible is privacy-first: it sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and doesn’t track you across sites or devices. Because it’s cookieless and anonymous, it doesn’t require a consent banner under UK GDPR / PECR.

3. Third-party tools you choose to use Some features embed services from other companies. These only load when you interact with that part of a page, and may set their own cookies under their own policies:

Cal.comBook a consultationScheduling your call
QuotifyBuild your quoteGenerating an instant estimate

If you use these features, please see the Cal.com and Quotify cookie and privacy policies.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear your stored site preference at any time. Most browsers let you block cookies entirely, though some third-party features (like booking or the map) may not work fully if you do. To clear your theme preference, simply clear this site’s data in your browser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our site evolves. The date below reflects the latest revision.
